"If you don't like it, get out"

If you find yourself about to click 'reply' on one of my posts and have nothing to say but "if you don't like it, get out", I suggest you save your energy.  Many half-wits before you have posted the same, so you're not really adding anything.

Same with "why are you here".  I've answered that question a few times in various comments.

If you really can't see how someone could get satisfaction out of the projects they are doing yet still hate the surroundings they are in, then you are suffering from poverty of your imagination.

Even if I didn't actually hate it, which I do, there is so much in Serbia that is objectively ridiculous, why wouldn't I post about it for the amusement of myself and others?  As if there aren't enough syrupy expat blogs out there.

    1. The answer is, that I'm usually only motivated to write when I am either angry or bored, and I try not to find myself in either state.

Believe it or not, I do have my fun here and I try to cultivate positive feelings as much as I can. My blog is cultivating negative feelings, which I try to avoid.

So, basically, I post only when I can't help myself.

As I said, this is my therapy :)

    1. It's not possible. It's only possible to allow registered users to make posts

  3. You're an idiot. Any fool can rant like this. Now tell us something intelligent.

  4. Hey,
Haven't had the time to go thorouglhy through your blog but I think got the picture. Have you tried joining an expat community of sorts?
In my experience they were good places to bash out the country together with others as bitter as youself. Made a few friends doing it, as well.
On the other hand, given the wide varitety of social psychology concepts spattered in this blog you do have a hell of an inclination to stereotype.

Anyhoo, I hope you get a chance for a better job prospect in a better country. Vitriolling this much can't be good for karma.

    Best,

    A Serb

  5. Enjoying's a bit of an overstatement, but, hey, you're welcome.
Would it be okay to put links to it from other websites in the near future?

  7. Be free man, of your hate, of whatever makes u do things u donˇt like. No need to be enslaved. What exactly keeps u from going away. Read some Castaneda or if u have better perception even Shopenhauer it will do u some good... Only thing I see here is a smart mind rotting away in hatred. Still feel sad about u and yr whole situation.
